Afacan, who lives with his father and stepmother, one day finds an old family photo album in the attic. His father begins to tell him the story of his real mother. Years ago, Murat saved Gül—who had attempted suicide—from death and brought her back to life. They marry, but a treacherous trap set by Osman, Murat’s assistant at the factory, tears the couple apart. Unable to accept what had happened, Gül ends up in a mental institution.
